Your information, your choices
About this policy
Stōkt Creative Co. (“Stōkt”, “we” or “us”) is a creative studio based in Saint-Sauveur, Québec, Canada. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you browse our website, contact us, request pricing, subscribe to our newsletter or join our project waitlist.
For privacy questions or requests, email hello@wearestokt.com. You do not need to subscribe to our newsletter to exercise your privacy rights.
Information we collect
Our contact form collects your name and email address, your service interests and any project details you choose to share. The message field is optional. Please do not include payment card details, passwords or sensitive personal information in an inquiry.
We also record your newsletter and waitlist choices, the time and source of your submission, the consent wording version, our availability when you inquire, and technical records needed to process the request and prevent duplicate emails. Our email providers keep delivery, bounce, complaint and unsubscribe information.
When you visit our website, hosting and analytics services may process technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, pages viewed, referral source and diagnostic events. Cookie and email measurement practices are explained below. If you become a client or buy a digital product, additional billing or project information may be needed for that separate transaction; our pricing form does not collect payment details.
Why we use it
We use your inquiry details to understand your project, reply to you and send the services and pricing information you request. Our availability determines whether that reply offers a meeting or explains the waitlist. A pricing request or waitlist signup does not reserve a project slot.
For subscribers, we use contact details and service interests to send relevant studio news, services, offers and project updates. If you separately join the project waitlist, we also use your details to contact you about future availability.
We keep consent and delivery records to respect your choices, prevent duplicate or unwanted messages, troubleshoot failures and protect our services. We may also retain or disclose information where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Newsletter and waitlist choices
The pricing-guide form combines a pricing request with a newsletter subscription. The newsletter checkbox is required to submit that form and is not preselected. Checking it and submitting asks us to send the requested pricing information and adds you to Stōkt’s newsletter. The project waitlist is a separate, optional choice and is not preselected.
You can withdraw your newsletter or waitlist consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in our marketing emails, or by emailing hello@wearestokt.com. You can ask us to remove only your waitlist preference or stop all marketing emails. We process marketing opt-out requests without delay and no later than 10 business days.
Unsubscribing does not automatically erase past correspondence or the limited records needed to honour your opt-out. It also does not prevent necessary, non-promotional communication about an existing project or a privacy request. We do not automatically reactivate an unsubscribed contact when they submit another inquiry.
Services that process your information
Framer hosts the website and receives form submissions. Submission details may also be delivered to our business email inbox so we can respond.
Neon provides the private backend and database that process inquiries. It stores submission details, consent records and processing and delivery status.
Kit manages our newsletter and waitlist audience. It receives your email address, first name, service interests, signup source, consent timestamps, availability at inquiry and relevant subscription tags. The contact workflow does not send your free-text project message to Kit.
Resend sends the requested pricing reply. It processes recipient details, email content and delivery information. Our pricing emails sent through Resend have open and click tracking disabled.
These providers process information to supply their services to us. Their terms explain their own processing and subprocessors: Framer, Kit, Neon and Resend. Website analytics providers are described in our Cookie Policy.
Where information is processed
Our providers and their subprocessors may store or process information outside Québec and Canada, including in the United States. The Neon database used for contact inquiries is hosted in the United States. Information processed abroad may be subject to local laws and lawful access by courts, regulators or other authorities.
Stōkt remains responsible for the personal information it entrusts to service providers. Contact us if you would like more information about this processing.
Retention and security
We retain information for the purposes described in this policy, taking into account the status of your inquiry or project, your subscription choices, and applicable legal and recordkeeping obligations. Inquiry records are not automatically deleted when a pricing email is delivered or when you unsubscribe.
You can ask us to review or delete information that is no longer needed. We may need to retain limited consent, unsubscribe, transaction or dispute records. Removal from active systems does not necessarily remove copies immediately from provider backups, which are subject to their retention cycles.
The contact workflow uses encrypted connections and a private database. Credentials are stored on the backend rather than in the website. Access is limited to authorised people and services. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Cookies and email measurement
The website uses Framer analytics and includes Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. These are separate from the Kit, Resend and Neon contact workflow. See our Cookie Policy for details about cookies, browser controls and email tracking.
Kit newsletters may use tracking pixels and tracked links to report opens and clicks, depending on the email settings. We use available delivery and engagement reports to understand how our emails perform. Resend open and click tracking is disabled for our pricing replies. Cookie preferences do not subscribe you to emails or unsubscribe you from them.
Your rights and privacy requests
Subject to applicable law, you can ask to access or correct your personal information, withdraw consent, request deletion of information we no longer need, or request a portable copy where that right applies. Send your request or privacy complaint to hello@wearestokt.com. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify your identity before disclosing or changing records.
We will review your request across the systems used for your inquiry and subscription, and explain any lawful limits on what we can do. You may also raise a concern with the Commission d’accès à l’information du Québec or another privacy authority with jurisdiction.
Changes to this policy
We update this page when our practices change and show the revision date above. Where a change requires new consent, we will request it before using your information for that new purpose. Continuing to browse the website does not by itself subscribe you to our newsletter or waitlist.
