From abandoned footage to an unforgettable snowboard movie.
From abandoned footage to an unforgettable snowboard movie.
"Short Notice" emerged during the pandemic, spearheaded by Max Trudel, a close collaborator. The project began with a trove of footage Max had compiled for a snowboard company and its athletes. When the company unexpectedly dropped all their athletes and returned the footage with little explanation, Max turned a setback into an opportunity.
Rallying the team, Max organized additional shoots to fill in the gaps and transform the returned footage into a compelling snowboard movie. Recognizing the project’s potential, we eagerly joined the effort, taking on the role of animating the graphics designed by Anthony Lemay and crafting the overall graphic package. Our contributions added a dynamic and cohesive visual layer that complemented the raw, powerful narrative of "Short Notice."
The result was a film that not only showcased the resilience of its creators but also stood as a testament to creativity thriving under challenging circumstances.
