No script? No problem. A universe was born.

No script? No problem. A universe was born.

Orkestra Camp 2018 was an ambitious project that began with a brilliant idea and a team brimming with enthusiasm. The goal: to produce a reality TV web series over a single weekend, with three episodes featuring four teams of four participants each, backed by a full camera crew and myself as the data wrangler.

Despite high spirits, the project lacked a clear plan for post-production editing or a fully developed script. Instead, the focus was on capturing dynamic activities and challenges. Pre-production spanned two intense months, during which an illustrator and I built an entire fictional universe to animate short films that introduced the challenges and concept for the series.

Over the course of five months, my role evolved to include nearly every aspect of production—directing, motion design, scripting, editing, managing social media, and even unofficially overseeing on-site activities. My contributions were so extensive that my name appeared in nearly every category of the credits, reflecting the depth of my involvement from concept to final product.

As the series was renewed for a second season, I had transitioned to freelance work. Orkestra re-engaged my services to create new motion designs that seamlessly continued the storyline from the first season, ensuring the narrative remained cohesive and maintaining the creative momentum we had established.
