A masterclass in progression and creative synergy.
A masterclass in progression and creative synergy.
Imagine mixing parkour with Tony Hawk’s skateboarding—this project was just that explosively creative. Led by a master from another sport, it was a genius exploration of progression that came during a challenging period in my career. Burned out from the pandemic-era workload, my vision was narrow, and initially, I struggled to grasp the full potential of this concept.
That changed when I collaborated with Jeremie Bouchard, a visionary director at Boombox. Jeremie’s clear, ambitious vision reignited my creative energy and led us to craft something exceptional. Over the course of a month, we edited a 26-minute show, weaving parkour timelines with archival footage to trace the sport’s roots and evolution.
The result was a dynamic and compelling narrative that celebrated parkour’s artistry and athleticism, earning a prestigious Webby nomination. This project remains a testament to the transformative power of collaboration and the magic of pushing creative boundaries.
